Ground floor in the future 2050

The premise of this project concerns the ground floor in undergoing depletion that will increase in the coming years (by 2050, 75% of the world population will live in cities).

We witnessed a parallel process of urban population accelerated growth and densification, while the disappearance and migration of public space due to changes in communication and transportation technology (especially services such as banks and supermarkets).

This requires new assessments and provides an opportunity to re-imagine public space in the city and especially the ground floor. How do you see the ground floor of the future? How will it be affected by the programs migration? Is familiar urban planning based on a traditional street pattern and would parceling still relevant?
